Golf Courses
"Golf is an ineffectual attempt to direct an uncontrollable sphere into an inaccessible hole with instruments ill-adapted to the purpose." - Winston Churchill
What We Do
Our understanding of golf course agronomy, operations, and aesthetics is applied to planning, construction, and renovation projects.
Typical Work Products
Recently, we developed a California Golf Industry Best Management Practices Guide for the California Golf Course Superintendents Association (CGCSA). This guide benefits over 500 golf courses in California by providing a customizable tool to address issues ranging from water resources to habitat. Here is an overview of the guide. "I scrolled through the BMP guide today and it is outstanding! Blankinship & Associates did a fantastic job of pulling together a comprehensive list of resources, references, FAQ’s, and links. WOW! I was really impressed with everything in this document. I especially liked many of the links and references to the UC – IPM and UC Cooperative Extension resources (home-grown resources). Well done!"
- Pat Gross, United States Golf Association
“Blankinship & Associates have done a really great job putting this [BMP Guide] together. I wish I would have had this document over the past several years. It’s going to save me a lot of time moving forward.”
