Blankinship & Associates hosted an online training and certification course for Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program Sediment and Erosion Control Plan (SECP) self-certification to educate farmers and agricultural landowners in the importance of sediment/erosion control and how to complete and certify their plan.
​October - December 2021: State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP) Grant Workshops ​(Sacramento County, CA)
CDFA's State Water Efficiency and Enhancement Program (SWEEP) is a competitive grant program that incentivizes farmers to invest in irrigation water and energy efficiency. Agricultural operations can apply for up to $200,000 for projects that involve improvements to irrigation systems, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and save water. Projects funded through SWEEP commonly include elements such as soil, plant, or weather sensors; micro-irrigation systems; pump retrofits or replacements; renewable energy; and variable frequency drives – among others.

Blankinship & Associates provided technical assistance to Sacramento County Farm Bureau members to obtain SWEEP grant funds as follows:
